A lovely spot for a date night or for a get together with friends. This quaint and charming old mill house turned restaurant is a gem in the heart of Alexandria. Nestled downtown and down a flight of stairs lies a rustic restaurant with sports bar, ample seating, and outdoor patio including a waterfall! The ambiance and atmosphere would be hard to outdo. Our party of 6 arrived 40 minutes before closing and the service was friendly and welcoming, if not a little on the slower side. The food arrived in about 30 minutes and it was hot and cooked well, despite the server not taking any notes only a side of fries was forgotten, and as it turned out, not needed. Plenty of gluten free options as well, wraps, pizza, pasta, and burgers all have gluten free options! Highly recommended, give it a try!

What an amazing gem in Alexandria! My first visit but definitely not my last! The waitress could have been more attentive. She never returned after dropping off the food. The food portion is perfect! Hot and fresh, too. The patio reminds me of a European atmosphere.

Went for the second time to this amaaaaaazing and beautiful restaurant to celebrate my birthday with my best friend. We came from Montreal on our and we had the most wonderful experience. Our server Trysa was the best. We had a delicious all dressed pizza and a veggie platter. The beautiful garden terrace is on a whole different level. I didn't want to leave this magical setting Five star experience and we can't wait to go back!

The food was very good and and prices are reasonable but that may change with the new menu. The atmosphere, especially outside was excellent but the service was extremely slow. It seems if you are in a big group, you get served first, and if you're like us just two people you have to wait. We also felt the regulars get served first. We waited for an hour just to get a salad and a wrap. This was not the fault of our server. It's just the way the kitchen works. We wanted to try this restaurant because of the excellent reviews but we live in montreal and it takes more than an hour to get there. If we have to wait another hour to eat, it is just not worth the trip.

Don't be fooled by the entrance! Be careful on the stairs going down but then you'll discover a little GEM of a place! There's a Terrasse outdoor, including a small waterfall! Sweet but if you are allergic to bees and wasps, I'd stay clear since winter is coming so they are abundant. We went back inside, the food is great for sure but 1- there's local beers that we can't take home (such a disappointment.. only 1-2 personal cans to refrain from reselling, would've made this perfect!) I took the Red at Heart, Rurban brewery (it's a blonde and you have a taste of honey even if it's not written! Smooth and just wonderful!) 2- Keira: our waitress had to juggle with our constant moves from outside to inside, cater to our every whim (yes we can be a bit demanding with our food, drinks, random questions) and she excelled at delivering an awesome experience! Not only I recommend (lots of weekend bikers like us from Quebec) but we'll go back with friends, guaranteed!! Thanks again Keira, you deserve a raise!

Grabbed a steak, and it was delicious. Paired it with a fairly priced Stella. The place was quite busy, but the service was still top tier. We sat on the patio where there was an active water behind us. Very nice place

They serve real potatoe fries and the poutine was phenomenal. We also got the hamburger and it was delicious. A little disapointed by the kids pizza it was okay at best. Great service and great food we will come back.

Originally an old mill with a waterfall in the courtyard, this restaurant is quite charming with its old stone walls and wooden beams. Cosy setting with dim lightening, this place is a gem in Alexandria, ON. The menu has a good variety of choices and the portions are balanced. The meals themselves are delicious.
